MASSIMO ROCCHI
Massimo Rocchi is a professional in the audiovisual production industry with over 25 years of experience.
He has worked in the entertainment sector as the creator and producer of numerous formats—ranging from Wanna Dance (over 200 episodes, Boing) to Jimmy Factory (a container of 7 different sitcoms, 64 episodes, Jimmy), The Soul (6 episodes, Dmax), Sweet Sardinia (44 episodes, La5), The CooKing (3 episodes, Real Time), and more. He has also supervised the development and production of various TV programs, including many adaptations of international formats such as Il colore dei soldi (pre-evening show, Italia 1), Giorno dopo giorno (daytime and prime time, Raitre) hosted by Pippo Baudo, and Zitti tutti (RaiUno) hosted by Carlo Conti.
Since the late 1990s, he has held managerial roles in the Production and Development sector at several Italian production companies, including Einstein Multimedia, Rizzoli Audiovisivi, Barter, and Showlab.
From 2014 to 2021, he served as General Director and Vice President of Garbo Produzioni and Anthos Produzioni, where he produced films (L’amore rubato and Diabolik sono io), documentaries (Ettore Majorana for Sky, Armando Trovajoli for Raitre, Francesco Baracca for Raistoria, etc.), unscripted series (Opera Italiana for Rai5, Lady Travellers for Raistoria, King Herod for Focus, etc.), and fiction such as L’Ispettore Coliandro 4 (Raidue), La porta rossa 3 (Raidue), and Il silenzio dell’acqua 2 (Canale5).
In 2022, Rocchi co-produced, alongside Quarantadue, the Netflix Original docuseries Il caso Yara – Oltre ogni ragionevole dubbio. In 2023, he was an Associate Producer for Bloom Media House on another Netflix docuseries currently in production.
That same year, he joined Maurizio Tini, founder of Fastfilm, becoming a Partner in the company.
